Applebrook Country Club transformed a seasonal weather-dependent outdoor entertainment/gathering area into a four-season space with the addition of window drops to provide protection from the elements in combination with decorative heating torches.
These drops are fabricated from acrylic fabric with clear vinyl sewn in to create natural lighting and to allow viewing of the lovely surroundings. The drops are constructed so that they can be rolled up or removed as the weather becomes more pleasant.
The use of drop curtains is not limited to commercial applications; they can be used in conjunction with existing fixed-frame canopies to block annoying late afternoon sun-glare or protection from blowing rain or just for privacy.
